Joe Driscoll, PharmD

Dr. Driscoll brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to GLDD.  Prior to joining GLDD, he served as the Executive Director of Clinical Research for Integrated Healthcare Associates (ClinSite, LLC) where he was responsible for directing the clinical research activities at the Site level.  His primary focus was to lead the clinical site personnel in all aspects related to the execution of clinical trials in therapeutic areas such as Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia, Women's Health, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Type 2 Diabetes and Asthma.  Prior to joining ClinSite, Dr. Driscoll spent 18 years at Parke-Davis and then subsequently Pfizer.  Here he gained extensive experience in Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials. 

Dr. Driscoll served as Associate Director of Clinical Research Operations where he provided program level oversight for all Phase I/II operations in the Inflammation and Pain therapeutic area at Pfizer.  Previous to this, he held the position of Associate Director for Study Management/Data Management at Pfizer in areas such as Oncology, Psychiatry and CNS.  His primary focus was to oversee clinical trial managers, data managers and project assistants on all operational aspects related to the execution of clinical trials.  During his time at Parke-Davis, he held the role of Clinical Scientist with responsibilities of protocol writing and full execution of clinical trials in Oncology, Women's Health and Diabetes. 

Dr. Driscoll has served as adjunct faculty at Ferris State University (FSU) College of Pharmacy and also worked closely to precept students from FSU and Eastern Michigan (Masters Program in Clinical Research).   Dr. Driscoll received his BS from Ferris State University and subsequently his PharmD at FSU as well.
