Dr. Gieseker has over 22 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in both clinical and regulatory affairs. His most recent experience includes the responsibility of providing regulatory strategies and managing interactions with health authorities for deCODE genetics. Dr. Gieseker held positions of increasing responsibility with Pharmacia, Pfizer and deCODE Genetics with global regulatory responsibilities for a variety of products. He spent 5 years in Europe with Pharmacia where he gained regulatory experience managing products through the Centralized and Mutual recognition process as well as IND and NDA experience. Therapeutic areas have included cardiovascular, endocrine and metabolism, ophthalmology, inflammation, CNS, Women’s Health and respiratory. He received his BS in Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico and PharmD from the University of Texas. |
